Ši trumpa, 2016 metais gimusi kompozicija buvo sumanyta kaip įžanga stambios apimties choriniam ciklui su instrumentinio ansamblio pritarimu minint Lietuvos Nepriklausomybės šimtmetį. Deja, iš to sumanymo, kuriam kvietė choro „Vilnius“ vadovai, liko tik ši Giesmė. Planams kintant jubiliejus buvo pažymėtas kitaip. Tad ji tėra aidas to, ką turime. Beje, pradinis trimito motyvas Giesmėje atkartoja frazę iš 2010 metais sukurtos oratorijos „Amžinoji šviesa“ finalo – „Susirinkom visi dar pabūti kartu…“
This short composition, written in 2016, was conceived as an introduction to a large-scale choral cycle with the support of an instrumental ensemble to commemorate the centenary of Lithuania’s Independence. Unfortunately, only this Song remained from the idea that the leaders of the „Vilnius“ choir had called for. As plans changed, the anniversary was marked differently. So it is just an echo of what we have. By the way, the initial trumpet motif in the Song repeats a phrase from the finale of the oratorio „Eternal Light” created in 2010 – „Let’s all gather together to be together again…”
