SymphoJazzBells

Atsiliepdamas į malonų Jono Jučo kvietimą, šiemet, po ilgesnės pauzės sumaniau Kauno karilioną vėl susieti su sodresniu orkestriniu skambėjimu, tiesa, šiuokart skambančiu iš specialiai paruoštos fonogramos. Tam net atsisiunčiau  naujų tembrų iš man jau žinomos, puikiais virtualiais simfoninio, jazz‘o orkestrų instrumentais ar choro bei solistų balsais kompozitorius globojančios firmos „EastWest Sounds“. Gimė gana daug visokių kompozicinių ir instrumentinių iššūkių sukėlęs šešių dalių ciklas „SymphoJazzBells“, kurį gyvai kartu su fonograma ir atliksiu festivalio „Kaunas Jazz 2025“ atidarymo koncerte Vytauto Didžiojo karo muziejaus bokšte kybančiu karilionu.

Responding to the kind invitation of Jonas Jučas, this year, after a longer break, I decided to connect the Kaunas carillon again with a richer orchestral sound, this time from a specially prepared phonogram. For this, I even downloaded new timbres from the company “EastWest Sounds”, which I already know, which sponsors composers with excellent virtual instruments of symphony and jazz orchestras or choir and soloist voices. The six-part cycle “SymphoJazzBells”, which posed quite a few compositional and instrumental challenges, was born, which I will perform live together with the phonogram at the opening concert of the “Kaunas Jazz 2025” festival on the carillon hanging in the tower of the Vytautas the Great War Museum.
